On December 29, 2008 permission was granted for the LMA:

"Hello, I am playing with a new Colorado-based Grateful Dead tribute band
called Mason's Children. Our MySpace page is located at:
http://www.myspace.com/masonschildren.

Mason's Children allows, and in fact encourages, the recording of our live
performances. Recordings of live performances by Mason's Children are
freely available to the public for download and dissemination, and not to
be used for any commercial gain.
